The Vinpearl figures come from the club's own course page and its 2026 public rate sheet, which includes green fee, caddie fee and a shared cart. The Eschuri figures come from the club's launch release and a reference list published in December 2025 that does not say what is included. Both are published prices; confirm before travel. Hole count

Some golf travel listings still describe Vinpearl Golf as a 27-hole course. The club's own page shows an 18-hole card, holes 1 to 18, par 72, and that is what we book.

What a golf day on the island looks like

Phu Quoc sits at about 10 degrees north. Mean daily highs run from 29.5 °C in September to 32.5 °C in April, and the island records rain on 19 to 24 days a month from May to October. Those two numbers shape every plan we write: the first tee of the day, not the last, is the one to ask for.

Vinpearl Golf publishes a tee window of 06:00 to 15:00. A 06:30 start in January puts you on the first tee a few minutes after sunrise; in June the sun is already up at about 05:45. Off the 18th by late morning, you have lunch in the clubhouse, a shower in the locker room and the afternoon on the beach. In the wet months the same early start is also the way to finish before the heavier showers build.

Afternoon tee times are possible, and Eschuri lists a twilight package, but in the wet months they carry more risk of a horn suspension for lightning. At Vinpearl, play stops on three long blasts and restarts 30 minutes after the last strike. We explain how that interacts with the booking on the tee times page.

Each package page lists the rounds, the course, which fees are inside the price and which are not, and a day plan with tee times. We quote per party because two golfers sharing a cart and a room cost very different amounts per person from one golfer travelling alone. What goes into a quote is set out on the pricing page.

How we put a package together

Tee times first. We request the tee time before we hold the hotel, because a 06:30 slot on a peak-season weekend is harder to get than a room.
Published fees, named. The quote shows each club's published rate for your date and category beside our package price, so you can see what is green fee and what is service.
Cart and caddie spelled out. Vinpearl's rate includes a caddie and a shared cart; a cart to yourself costs extra. We list those lines rather than burying them.
Transfers timed to the round. The car is booked so you reach the clubhouse with time to check in and warm up, not at the minute of your tee time.
A day for whoever does not play. If a partner is travelling, the quote includes their days as well, not just yours.

Who should look elsewhere

Golfers who want five or more different courses in a week. Phu Quoc has two operating courses; the mainland has many more.
Groups of more than eight golfers or tournament organisers. We plan for one or two flights of four.
Anyone set on walking 18 holes with a trolley. Vinpearl's rules require every player to use a cart.
Travellers in August or September who will not accept a rained-off round. Those months average more than 470 mm of rain.

Questions travellers ask most

How many golf courses are open on Phu Quoc?

Two: Vinpearl Golf Phu Quoc at Bai Dai and Eschuri Vung Bau at Cua Can, both 18 holes. A provincial zoning plan for the north-west coast sets aside land for golf, but no construction has been reported, so treat any third course as planned only.

Do I need my own clubs?

No. Vinpearl Golf rents a full set for VND 950,000 and shoes for VND 250,000 on its 2026 rate sheet. Eschuri lists a pro shop but does not publish rental prices, so we confirm them for your date.

Which month should we choose?

December to March is the dry, calmer stretch and the clubs' peak-fee period. April is hot, with highs around 32 °C. May to October is cheaper at Vinpearl but wetter, and early tee times matter more.

Can a non-golfer come along?

Yes. Our six-night golf and beach package plans both people's days. Vinpearl also sells non-playing visitors a 30-minute course tour by cart with a guide.
