Phu Quoc has two operating 18-hole courses, both on the north-west coast, both laid out with IMG. They are close enough to play from one hotel and different enough to be worth playing back to back. This package does exactly that: Vinpearl on day two, Eschuri on day three, and a third round on day four at the course you would rather see again.
It is for golfers who travel to play and want a fair comparison, and for fours who cannot agree which course to choose. We keep one hotel for all four nights so nobody packs a bag mid-trip. Vung Bau sits between Ong Lang and Bai Dai, so a hotel on either stretch puts both clubhouses within a short drive; the exact times are in your quote.
Why the two courses are worth playing back to back
Vinpearl Golf: forest parkland
Vinpearl's 18 holes run under old-growth forest in the north of the island. The card adds up to 7,038 yards and par 72, split 36 – 36. The par 3s are holes 3, 8, 13 and 15; the par 5s are 2, 7, 11 and 17. By the club's stroke index the sixth, a par 4, is the hardest hole and the twelfth the second hardest. Fairways, rough and tees are Seashore Paspalum, and the greens are Paspalum 2000.
Eschuri Vung Bau: forest out, beach back
Eschuri describes itself as links-style. The front nine winds through preserved forest; the back nine opens onto Vung Bau beach, with 59 bunkers described as waste bunkers and hole 14 aimed straight at the sea. From the black tees it measures 7,508 yards. A course listing gives par 72 and ratings from 69.3 (white, 5,976 yards) to 76.7 (black), with slopes from 135 to 149 for men. No comparable rating for Vinpearl appears in our sources, so the clearest difference is length: 470 yards more from the back tees.
Playing them on consecutive days makes the contrast obvious: one rewards accurate iron play between trees, the other punishes a ball flight that balloons in a sea breeze. The third round is your verdict. More detail is on the course comparison page.

Day by day
Day 1
Arrive, transfer to the north-west coast
Meet your driver at PQC. The Bai Dai area is about 30 to 32 km from the airport, a 40 to 50 minute drive. Check in, hand over clubs if you are renting at the course, and collect the written plan with three tee times and three pickup times.
With an early arrival, an hour at the Vinpearl range is a sensible warm-up for day two: 14 mat bays and 6 grass bays, and 40 balls cost VND 120,000 on the 2026 sheet.
Day 2
Round one: Vinpearl Golf
Early pickup for a tee time between 06:00 and 07:00. Check in, change in the locker room and be on the tee five minutes before your time. Your caddie and a shared cart are inside the published rate.
Finish by late morning, eat in the 150-seat clubhouse restaurant if you want to, and return to the hotel. The afternoon is free.
Day 3
Round two: Eschuri Vung Bau
The beach-side back nine and the sea-facing 14th
The same rhythm at the second course. Eschuri's own booking advice, as published by a reseller, is to book at least 24 hours ahead and arrive 30 minutes before the tee time; we build that into the pickup.
The round turns from forest to beach after the ninth, and the inward holes are the exposed ones. An early slot keeps you off the course before the midday heat, the same logic as at Vinpearl. Clubhouse lunch is at CoCo, the club's restaurant.
Day 4
Round three: your choice
We hold a provisional tee time at one course and confirm it, or switch it, after your second round. You can decide on the drive back from Eschuri.
In the wet season this is also the fallback day if round one or two was cut short by lightning.
Day 5
Departure
Breakfast, check out, private transfer to PQC. With an evening flight and a free morning, a nine-hole loop at Vinpearl costs half the 18-hole rate; tell us when you book.
Three rounds in three days is the tight version. Add a fifth night and we move round three to day five, leaving day four for the beach.
Reference fees for the three rounds
| Round | Course | Published 18-hole fee | Source and date |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Vinpearl Golf, visitor, weekday | VND 2,500,000 (Apr – Oct) · VND 3,600,000 (Jan – Mar, Nov – Dec) | Club rate sheet, 2026 |
| 2 | Eschuri Vung Bau, weekday | VND 4,800,000 | Reference list, Dec 2025 (agency) |
| 3 | Replay at Vinpearl, weekday | As round 1 | Club rate sheet, 2026 |
| 3 | Replay at Eschuri, weekday | VND 4,800,000; second 18 listed at VND 3,360,000 | Reference list, Dec 2025 (agency) |
On those figures, three weekday rounds with a Vinpearl replay come to VND 9,800,000 in published fees in the low season and VND 12,000,000 in the peak season, per golfer. Weekend rates are higher at both clubs. The Eschuri list does not say whether caddie and buggy are included, and the club advertises up to 35% off for guests of Sun Group resorts, which can change the order of the numbers. We quote the actual rate for your date. These are published prices; confirm before travel.

Who this package is not for
- Golfers who want a rest day between rounds without adding a night. The standard version plays three days running.
- Anyone who struggles in wind and dislikes long carries; Eschuri from the back tees is 7,508 yards with an exposed inward nine.
- Travellers who want to stay in Duong Dong town each night. The morning drive from town is longer; the golf and beach package splits the stay instead.
- Golfers who need guaranteed refunds for weather. Neither club publishes a rain-check policy; we get each club's terms in writing, but we cannot change them.

Common questions
Questions travellers ask most
Which course should we play twice?
Decide after round two. We hold a provisional slot at one course and switch it if you prefer the other, subject to the tee sheet.
Is Eschuri much harder than Vinpearl?
It is longer from the back, 7,508 yards against 7,038, and a course listing gives it a slope of 149 from the black tees. The white tees bring it down to under 6,000 yards and the red tees to 5,208, and its back nine is exposed to the sea breeze.
Can we stay in two hotels, one near each course?
We can, but the courses are both on the north-west coast and one hotel is usually simpler. Two hotels make sense only if you want two different beaches.
Is there night golf?
Eschuri lists night golf under floodlights on its website but does not publish hours or prices. Ask in the form and we will check for your dates.
