What a Phu Quoc golf quote is made of

We do not publish package prices, because the same three nights cost very different amounts in January and June, on a Tuesday and a Saturday. This page shows the lines inside every quote, the clubs' published fees, and the things that move the total.

Every quote lists the club's published green fee next to the round it pays for, so you can see what part of the total goes to the course. The hotel is named, not described by star rating. The transfers are listed by journey. We do not show our own margin as a separate line; it sits inside the package price, which is the number you compare with other offers.

Figures in VND, valid 1 January to 31 December 2026, including green fee, caddie fee and a shared cart. Peak season is January to March and November to December; low season is April to October. Nine holes cost half the 18-hole rate, 27 holes one and a half times, 36 holes twice.

For Eschuri Vung Bau the latest public figures are a December 2025 reference list from a reseller: 18 holes VND 4,800,000 on weekdays and VND 5,200,000 at weekends, nine holes VND 3,100,000 and VND 3,600,000, a second 18 VND 3,360,000 and VND 3,640,000. It does not say what is included. At its October 2024 launch the club listed VND 5,000,000 including green fee, caddie, half a buggy, a light meal and a soft drink. The club's website advertises up to 35% off for guests of Sun Group resorts. These are published prices; confirm before travel.

What moves the price, in order

Season. A visitor's weekday round at Vinpearl is VND 3,600,000 in the peak season and VND 2,500,000 from April to October, 44% more for the same course. Hotels on the west coast move in the same direction.
Weekday or weekend. At Vinpearl a peak weekend round is VND 900,000 more than a peak weekday; at Eschuri the reference gap is VND 400,000. Moving two rounds from Saturday and Sunday to Tuesday and Wednesday is the simplest saving.
Where you sleep. Vinpearl's guest rate for hotels it manages or partners with is VND 700,000 below the visitor rate on a peak weekday. Eschuri advertises up to 35% off for Sun Group resort guests. The hotel choice can change which course is cheaper.
How many share. Two golfers share a cart and a car; one golfer travelling alone pays the private cart surcharge if they want the cart to themselves, and the whole car.
Number of rounds. Each round adds a green fee and a transfer. A fourth round is often cheaper as a nine-hole loop.
Distance from the course. A hotel in the south of the island means longer transfers on every golf day.

These are typical market ranges published by travel guides, not our buying prices. They are here so you can sanity-check the transfer part of any quote, ours included. Caddie tips are not set by the clubs; the range above is a Vietnam-wide guide figure, and the tip is paid by you, in cash, to your caddie.

What is not included, and why

Flights. Fares to PQC change daily and you may already hold miles or a preferred airline. We plan around your flight times.
Travel insurance. Cover for golf equipment, rounds lost to weather and medical costs depends on your home country and policy. Buy it at home.
Caddie tips. They go straight to the caddie, in cash, at your discretion.
Rentals and supplements. Not every golfer wants a private cart or rental clubs; including them would raise every quote.
Meals other than breakfast. Clubhouse lunches and dinners in town are better chosen on the day.

How a cheaper golf quote is usually made

Green fees quoted for weekdays only, while the tee times offered fall at the weekend.
A shared cart and assigned caddie described as 'cart and caddie included', which is true, while the private cart you expected is charged on the day.
A hotel named by star rating only, which then turns out to be an hour from the course.
Shared shuttles instead of a private car, with pickups timed for the bus rather than your tee time.
Eschuri priced at an old promotional rate that no longer applies.
Afternoon tee times, which may be easier to obtain but carry more weather risk in the wet months.

None of these is dishonest in itself. They become a problem when the quote does not say which one it uses. Ask any supplier, including us, to name the hotel, the tee times and the club's rate for each round.

Questions travellers ask most

Why is your quote higher than booking the tee time myself?

The green fee is the same: we quote the club's published rate. The difference is the transfers, the hotel and our service, which includes requesting the tee times, getting each club's terms in writing and handling changes on the island. If you only need a tee time, booking direct with the club is cheaper.

Can you get a lower green fee than the published rate?

Staying at a hotel managed by or partnered with Vinpearl lowers Vinpearl's rate, and Eschuri advertises discounts for Sun Group resort guests. Beyond those published routes we do not promise discounts.

Are prices in dollars or dong?

Club fees are published in VND and we show them that way. Your package quote states its currency, and the payment methods are on the quotation.

What if the club changes its rates after we book?

Vinpearl's 2026 sheet is valid to 31 December 2026. For dates in 2027, or for Eschuri where public rates are reference only, we tell you in the quote which fees are confirmed and which could still change.
