About

About Phu Quoc Golf

We plan golf holidays on one island: tee times at its two courses, hotels near the first tee, transfers timed to the round and days for partners who do not play. This page explains how we work and what we do not do.

What we do

Phu Quoc Golf builds golf stays on Phú Quốc and nothing else. A stay is made of four things: tee times at Vinpearl Golf, Eschuri Vung Bau or both; hotel nights in the area that suits the course; private transfers between airport, hotel and clubhouse; and, when someone in the party does not play, a plan for their days too. We also arrange single rounds with transfers for golfers who are already staying on the island.

The island has two operating 18-hole courses. That makes it a short list to know well. Our pages give the card, the length, the turf, the practice facilities, the rules a visitor meets and the published fees, each with its source and the date we read it. When a figure is uncertain, such as Eschuri's par or its current inclusions, we say so instead of guessing.

How we work

  • Tee times before hotels. On busy dates the early slots are scarcer than rooms, so we request them first.
  • Fees shown at the club's rate. Your quote lists each round at the club's published rate for your date and category, beside the package price.
  • Written terms from the club. Neither course publishes a rain-check policy. Before you pay, we obtain each club's position for your dates and put it in writing.
  • Named hotels. Quotes name the hotel and room, not a star rating.
  • Early starts by design. We plan rounds for the first hours of the 06:00 – 15:00 window, because heat and afternoon rain both favour the morning.
  • Private cars only. No shared shuttles; the driver waits while you play.

Why the site looks the way it does

Golf travel sites often rank courses or quote ratings and awards. We do neither. We describe the courses with figures you can check: yards, par, stroke index, slope where a listing gives it, fees with their validity dates. Where two sources disagree, as they do on whether Vinpearl has 18 or 27 holes, we show both and say which one we rely on and why.

Package prices are not published because they depend on dates, party size and hotel. The pricing page shows every line that goes into a quote and the market ranges for the non-golf parts, so you can test our number against any other.

What we don't do

  • Golf anywhere but Phu Quoc. No mainland courses, no multi-destination golf tours.
  • Large groups and tournaments. We plan for one or two flights of four. Corporate golf days, scrambles and events with prizes and scoring are outside what we do.
  • Boat trips and sightseeing tours. We do not sell island boat trips or general island tours. Our non-golfer plans stay on land: the beach, the safari and theme park, the night market.
  • Courses that do not exist yet. Planned courses appear on our pages as planned, with their source; we do not take bookings for them.
  • Guaranteed discounts. We quote the clubs' published rates and the published hotel-guest reductions. We do not promise lower green fees than that.
  • Walking rounds. Vinpearl requires carts for every player; we cannot arrange a walking round there.

Why there are no reviews on this site

We do not post testimonials or star ratings. Short quotes on a company's own website cannot be checked, and a golfer deciding where to spend a week deserves better evidence than that. What we offer instead is the plan itself: send the form, and the reply you get will show the tee times, the named hotel and the club's fees for your dates. Judge us on that.

The island, briefly

Phu Quoc is a special zone (đặc khu) of An Giang province since 1 July 2025, about 589 km² with its islets, in the Gulf of Thailand off Vietnam's south-west coast. Foreign visitors flying in directly through an international gate can stay up to 30 days without a visa, for Phu Quoc only. Flights from Ho Chi Minh City take about 1 hour 10 to 1 hour 30 minutes, and Sun PhuQuoc Airways, based on the island, flies direct to Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong and Chengdu.

For golf, the island's useful facts are short: two courses on the north-west coast, a dry season from about November to April, and a tee window that opens at 06:00. The rest of this site fills in the detail.

The quickest way to see how we work is to ask for a plan. The contact page explains what to put in the form; how to book covers the steps after that.

Common questions

Questions travellers ask most

Do you only sell golf?

Golf stays, single rounds with transfers, and plans for non-golfing partners on the same trip. We do not sell general sightseeing or boat trips.

Can you book a tee time without a hotel?

Yes, as a single round with transfers from your own hotel. If you only need the tee time and no car, booking direct with the club is simpler.

Why should we trust your figures?

Each one carries its source and the date we read it, and the pages say which figures come from the clubs and which from resellers or listings. Check any of them before you book.
