How to book, from enquiry to first tee

Five steps from your first message to a confirmed tee time, what we need from you, how far ahead to book for each course, and what happens when weather stops a round.

Five steps

  1. 01

    Send the form

Dates or a date window, number of golfers and non-golfers, the course you prefer and your flight times if you have them.

  2. 02

    We check the tee sheet

We request tee times from the club for your dates and hold them where the club allows.

  3. 03

    You receive a quote

Named hotel, tee times, transfers, the club's published fee for each round, and what is and is not included.

  4. 04

You confirm and pay the deposit

The quotation states the deposit, the balance date and the payment methods.

  5. 05

    Final plan before you fly

Pickup times, club check-in rules, dress and cart rules, and the plan for any non-golfer.

We reply to every form by email. Tee times are confirmed by the club, not by us, so they can take longer than the rest of the plan.

How far ahead to book

  • Peak season weekends (January to March, November to December, and public holidays): as early as you can. Early tee times go first.
  • Peak season weekdays: a few weeks ahead is usually enough for the course; hotels may be the limit.
  • Low season, April to October: shorter notice works for the golf; we still ask for at least a few days so the transfers can be timed.
  • Eschuri at short notice: a reseller publishes the club's advice to book at least 24 hours ahead and arrive 30 minutes before the tee time.

Vinpearl's rules say that on weekends, holidays and peak days a flight of fewer than four may be asked to join other players, and that full flights get booking priority. A party of two playing on a Saturday in February should expect that possibility.

Weather, lightning and changes

Play at Vinpearl stops when lightning is in the area: three long horn blasts, everyone to the nearest shelter, play resumes 30 minutes after the last strike on one long blast. The published rules say nothing about refunds or rain checks for suspended rounds.

So before you pay, we ask each club for its position on rounds lost to weather for your dates and put the answer in your quote. In the wet months, May to October, we build a fallback morning into the stay packages where the nights allow it. If a round cannot be replayed, what is refunded follows the club's terms and the cancellation terms written on your quotation.

Who decides

The club decides whether the course is open and when play stops. Our driver waits; we do not charge extra for transfer time lost to a weather delay.

Entry and paperwork

Foreign visitors who fly directly into Phu Quoc through an international gate may stay up to 30 days without a visa; the exemption covers Phu Quoc only, so travelling on to the mainland needs a visa. Vietnam also issues e-visas valid up to 90 days to citizens of all countries. If you are connecting through Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi, check whether you stay airside: leaving the transit area requires a visa.

We need each traveller's name as in the passport for hotel registration. Handicap certificates are not mentioned in Vinpearl's published rules; if Eschuri asks for one for your date, we will tell you.

Common questions

Questions travellers ask most

Is the tee time confirmed when we pay the deposit?

The club confirms tee times. We request them before the quote and tell you which are confirmed and which are held or pending when you pay.

Can we change the course after booking?

Usually, if the other club has a slot on the same morning. The green fee and transfer time change, and we send a revised quote.

What if our flight is delayed and we miss the first round?

Tell us as soon as you know. We ask the club to move the tee time; whether the original fee is lost depends on the club's terms, which we will have sent you in writing.
